The short version

Your photos and music are not uploaded to us. The slideshow is assembled and saved as a video inside your own browser. We only keep what is needed to run your account and your purchases.

Information we keep

• Account details: your name, email address and sign-in method (email and password, or Google sign-in), plus session records that keep you signed in.
• Purchases: tribute passes you bought, which memorial projects a pass was used for (a random project ID, not its content), and the order details returned by our payment provider. Payment details are entered on the checkout page of our Merchant of Record, Waffo Pancake; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, language and the page that referred you, used for security, fraud prevention and to understand how people find the site.
• Messages you send us, such as support emails.

Information we do not receive

• The photos, music, names, dates and text you add to a slideshow. They stay in your browser and disappear when you close the tab, unless you save the video yourself.
• The finished video file.

How we use information

To provide and secure the service, process payments and refunds, answer support requests, and improve the site. We do not sell personal information and we do not use your information for advertising.

Service providers

• Waffo Pancake is our online reseller and Merchant of Record. It processes payments, calculates and collects sales tax or VAT, and handles payment disputes. Waffo processes your name, email, billing country and payment details under its own privacy policy as an independent controller.
• Google provides optional sign-in.
• Cloudflare hosts the website and database.
• An email provider sends account emails such as password resets.

Each provider processes data only to provide its service to us.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and order records while your account is active and as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@memorialslideshowmaker.com.

Children

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
